Hello Everybody!
Wiping away a tear... sniff-sob; sniff-sob...another canceled class today Mon Feb 2.
The good news: we've added additional make-up seats to all classes for the remainder of the semester. For the next three weeks, there will be up to six extra seats per class. After that, make-up seats will still be available, though they will gradually taper off toward the end of the semester. In addition, revisions to the weather policy are in the works.
We hope you can join another class this week if your class is canceled again.
Since many of us are spending extra time at home, we'd also love to hear from parents about what your child is doing musically outside of class. Is your child singing? Playing instruments? Mimicking music they hear?
The three- and four-year-olds are at an especially important stage in their musical development, and many may reach musical competency in the coming months. While we do our best to observe musical behaviors in class, we know that so much more happens at home.
Would you be willing to share your observations with your teacher each week when you come to class? Several of you are already doing this, and it truly inspires and helps us as we work to bring your family the best musical experiences possible each week.
Thank you for being such a wonderfuly, supportive community! |
